Welcome to Troop 6!
Troop 6 is part of the Middle Tennessee Council of Scouting America and is chartered by St. Henry Catholic Church in Nashville, Tennessee. St. Henry’s has been amazingly supportive of the Scouts for many years, and advocates for inclusion of all children in the Nashville area regardless of religion, race or culture.

Why Scouting?
The purpose of Scouting is to involve children in a tried and true program designed to build desirable qualities of character in men, educate in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, develop healthy life style habits, and create memories of personal achievements and long lasting friendships.

Scouting provides a platform for children to learn and practice skills to

- Be leaders in their communities

How our troop operates

The Troop is Scout-led and elects its own Scout leadership

The Troop is split into same-aged Patrols

Every meeting each Patrol work on rank advancement, team building and planning of Scouting activities and community involvement

The Scout Master and assistants help Scout leaders with adding structure and guidance at every meeting
